Sometimes I just have to. So, while I love to use the Serendipity Merge feature to make new blocks, there’s also simple cut and paste. So when I take this block:
And do a Copy and Paste so I can superimpose it over this block:
I wind up with this block:
Now. How fun is that?
And then I can put it in a quilt. Like this:
Or this:
It occurs to me I’d like to see the block without that center circle. So here it is without:
Yes, I like that. Cleaner. So, like this in a quilt:
Fun way to start the day. Now I’m off to do real work (bummer).
