Happy New Year and a Giveaway

Well, it’s the first day of the new year. I’ve decided a little giveaway is in order. So, without any ado, here it is: a set of bookmarks I made using Rebecca McMeen’s completely darling Persnickety Triplets.  Some of you will recognize I did these once before, but hey, it’s not like we’ve tossed out the old (which is good, because I’m not, as my father would have said, still a Spring chicken).

I took the photo after they were laminated, so there’s some glare and the color is a little off (the color is always off on my photos – nothing new there).
Those faces are so cute.  Here’s a couple close-ups:

So sweet. I just love them.
All you need to do to enter the giveaway is leave a comment on this blog entry. I will ask Mr. Random Number Generator to pick a number sometime Sunday evening.
Here’s wishing everyone a great start to the New Year!

Edit to Add: Mr. Random Number Generator decreed that Rilene won the book marks.

  1. I love your bookmarks! I'm one who keeps older items, and re-designs, re-uses etc. I love reading too! No fabric is too old or too old-fashioned to be used in a quilt.....

  3. Oh, I love these! And what a lovely idea. I would definitely love to win them.

Now I'm seeing this list of tutorials on the right side and now I might have to watch/read them. Unfortunately, I not only don't know how to sew (even tho' I've sewn 4 xmas stockings, including a crazy quilted one), but I don't have a sewing machine. But what the heck. I'll watch/read the tutorials and learn something for when I learn to sew, which I am going to do in the future. :)

  4. Very cute bookmarks, Terrie! I hope you've had some time to read over the break. I just finished a couple of books. What a treat to have time to read!

  5. For all the readers in my family, I'd love to win them. Just finished book #1 of 2014. 'The Lowlands' by Jhumpa Lahiri is so sad, but so good. Happy reading.

  7. The expressions are great! I love following your patterns for making miniatures. Even if I use similar colours the result is always a fun surprise and everyone thinks I'm SO talented.....ha!

    1. I love that about the patterns, too. There is always that element of surprise, and they results looks so much harder to achieve than they actually are.
